Lianne Jackson has joined National Friendly as business development manager (BDM).

Jackson (pictured) joins from Bupa where she had been a BDM since 2024 and will report directly to Gifford Clay, head of intermediary sales at National Friendly.

Prior to joining Bupa, she was a wealth business consultant at Vitality, and before that was a life and health business consultant at the insurer.

She moved to Vitality from the world of investments following almost 15 years with M&G.

Oliver Jones, commercial director at National Friendly, said: “As part of our continued strategy to expand our distribution footprint, we have identified a clear need to strengthen our presence across the South East.

“With Lianne being locally based, she is ideally positioned to enhance our regional coverage and deepen relationships with key intermediary partners.”

Jones further noted that Jackson brings extensive experience across the fields of income protection and private medical insurance.

“She will support a defined panel of intermediaries, helping to drive engagement, improve adviser outcomes, and extend the reach of our product offering,” Jones continued.

“This appointment represents another important step in strengthening our intermediary distribution capability and supporting our growth ambitions.”
