Bupa Global has appointed Nichola Thomson as general manager of Bupa Global UK and Africa.
Thomson (pictured) has held executive positions across marketing, distribution, operations, and transformation with Jelf, Lockton and Zurich. Her most recent senior leadership role was vice president of insurance business services at Mphasis.
Previously she spent five years as chief operating officer at Jelf Bluefin, and almost a decade at Zurich culminating in two years as public liability broker director.
In her new role Thomson will lead the management of Bupa Global’s business and strategy delivery in the UK, Africa, and Bupa Egypt businesses.
Her appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Thomson added she was looking forward to leading Bupa Global into the next phase of its journey in the UK and Africa and supporting customers across its more than 190 countries.
