Business Protection Focus Week is returning in February featuring representatives from Everywhen, Iress, Waymore, London FS, Royal London, Trethowans Solicitors and Bizval.
It will take place between 23 and 27 February.
In its second year, the free to attend virtual sessions will cover a wide range of business protection opportunities.
These include exit planning, opportunities for mortgage advisers, how group protection policies can support clients, factors affecting the value of client’s private business, practical protection for sole traders, disaster planning for business owners, business protection planning for family businesses, business whole of life and business healthcare and protection.
Last June, a range of protection industry organisations came together to launch the week which aims to raise awareness and educate advisers about business protection and inspire them to get involved in the market.
In its inaugural year advisers such as LifeSearch, Pangea, Wealthmax, Towergate, Way More and Wyke Financial took part.
Insurers Royal London, Zurich, Legal & General, LV=, Scottish Widows and Unisure, along with other organisations such as Swiss Re, QB partners, CI Expert, IPipeline and Iress also participated.
The focus at launch included a series of panel debates and discussions around various subjects in the business protection market – all aimed to help advisers whether they are new to the market or have been in it for a while.
