The protection sector has come together to launch Business Protection focus week which will run between 2 and 6 June.
Stuart Halliwell, owner of Stuart Halliwell Consultants, explained that the focus week will tackle the issue of helping advisers who are interested in this underserved market write more business protection.
The focus week will feature a series of panel debates/discussions around various subjects in the business protection market – all aimed to help advisers whether they are new to the market or been in it for a while.
A range of protection industry organisations have come together to launch the week, including advisers such as LifeSearch, Pangea, Wealthmax, Towergate, Way More and Wyke Financial.
Insurers Royal London, Zurich, Legal & General, LV=, Scottish Widows and Unisure, along with other organisations such as Swiss Re, QB partners, CI Expert, IPipeline and Iress are also participating.
Subjects to be covered include:
- Demystifying business protection
- Latest research and opportunity
- How to write cover
- Conversational skills to bring the need to life
- International opportunities
- Group protection vs individual protection
- Impact of budget changes and salary exchange
- Growing and developing your business
- Sessions with CI expert, IPipeline, and Iress looking at the tools available
- Real world experience from an adviser’s perspective
The sessions are all free to attend and are all via Teams aside from the CI Expert sesssions which will be on Zoom.
