Cardo Health has appointed Oriel Carew as chief growth officer.
In her new role Carew will be responsible for driving growth in co-owned companies and leading expansion into new markets through developing and executing investment strategies.
Cardo Health is a digital health company which was launched with a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of millions of people in emerging markets.
Prior to joining Cardo Health, Carew was director of strategy and planning at HCA Healthcare UK, where she led development and implementation of a transformational long-term growth plan across the company’s network of hospitals, primary care and diagnostics.
Previously, she ran Backlogs, the UK’s online histopathology reporting company, and has also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, specialising in healthcare strategy and operations.
