Cigna Healthcare, International Health has appointed Rob Peat as CEO of Asia Pacific. He will take on the role as of 1 April.
Based in Hong Kong, Peat (pictured) will oversee International Health’s operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, and Australia, driving growth across the key region and identifying opportunities for greater leverage among markets.
Peat is an insurance industry leader and has been with Cigna Healthcare for 22 years.
He first joined the organisation as an actuarial expert, honing his experience in group insurance and global health benefits.
He has assumed increasing responsibility within the finance division over the years, taking up key roles such as chief financial officer for the Asia Pacific region and then for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, before becoming chief financial officer, international health in 2020.
Reporting directly to Jason Sadler, president, international health, Peat will oversee International Health’s operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, and Australia, driving accelerated growth across this key region and identifying opportunities for greater leverage among markets.
Following Peat’s transition to his new role, Shaun MacKenzie has been appointed chief financial officer, international health, effective April 1, 2025.
MacKenzie has been with Cigna Healthcare for 17 years in a number of different actuarial, finance and strategy roles.
