Zurich has launched Zurich LifeVault, a digital platform that helps customers organise wills, important documents, personal wishes and treasured memories in one secure place.
The platform, which extends customer support beyond the traditional life insurance pay out, is being launched following the release of research from the insurer which reveals people’s concerns following the passing of a loved one.
According to the poll of 2,000 adults, from family fallouts to funeral costs, most UK adults (79%) harbour worries about how loved ones will cope after they die, and yet less than half of the adult population (48%) have a valid will, leaving inheritance in the hands of the law, and loved ones to pick up the pieces.
