Employee benefits and wellbeing provider DocHQ has appointed Amit Arora as chief commercial officer.

Arora will lead DocHQ’s commercial strategy, including sales, marketing and partnerships, and will be responsible for driving growth and revenue, and expanding the company’s reach.

He joins from Global Benefits Group (GBG) where he was sales director and head of international private medical insurance (IPMI) and is also a former director of global direct sales at Bupa Global.

Arora has more than 23 years’ experience in building and scaling businesses for financial services corporations, including Bupa, Citibank, GE, and GBG.

He also has a track record of managing portfolios in excess of $350m across a range of insurance, banking, and credit products in both domestic and international markets, the firm said.

Madhur Srivastava, CEO of DocHQ, said: “We are thrilled to have Amit join our team at DocHQ.

“Amit’s extensive experience in building and scaling businesses in the healthcare and financial services industries makes him the perfect fit for DocHQ as we continue to expand our offerings and reach.

“His deep strategic and operational expertise, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission of transforming the healthcare industry.”

Arora (pictured) added: “A few weeks in and the sheer pace and passion of the team is infectious. The vision is to build a people-centred, high quality, integrated healthcare network and provide personalised solutions to improve health and wellbeing.”
