Doctor Care Anywhere (DCA) has agreed a partnership with global healthcare AI company, Huma.
Huma’s MyGP app acts as an NHS GP booking and healthcare management platform.
The collaboration will enable MyGP patients, who are unable to book an NHS GP appointment, to book a video consultation 24/7 with a private clinician from DCA.
The service is expected to go live in summer 2025.
Dr Murray Ellender, head of UK healthcare at Huma, said: “At Huma we believe in supporting patients in living their best lives through digital solutions.
“MyGP gives patients control, choice and access to healthcare services when they need them most. We are excited to be working with DCA to further enhance those options.”
Laura O’Riordan, CEO at Doctor Care Anywhere, said: “We are excited to partner with Huma – DCA brings a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality private digital healthcare solutions in the UK for over a decade.
“This partnership marks a significant step forward in patient choice, by giving patients the option to have private appointments, we are stepping forward with MyGP to bridge gaps in availability. ”
