Dr Katie Tryon promoted to deputy CEO of VitalityHealth

Vitality has promoted Dr Katie Tryon to deputy CEO for VitalityHealth.

Previously chief commercial director for health at Vitality, the newly-created role sees Dr Tryon (pictured) take on additional responsibilities in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and operational management for the VitalityHealth business, alongside her previous responsibilities of managing commercial partnerships and member health journeys.

VitalityHealth added the deputy CEO role is a newly created role for the health business within the new global Vitality structure, reflecting the importance of healthcare and clinical expertise within the health business and the growth and scale of the business in recent years.

Dr Arun Thiyagarajan, CEO of VitalityHealth, said: “We’re delighted to announce Katie’s appointment as deputy CEO for the health business.

“Her expertise across the medical, healthcare and insurance sectors, combined with her commitment to preventative care and innovation, will see us deliver more high-quality services to our members and help them to live heathier lives now and into the future.”

Dr Katie Tryon said: “In the deputy CEO role, my focus will be on further strengthening partnerships, ensuring we have the most effective health journeys and services for our members, and supporting continuous innovation as an organisation.”
