Engage Health Group has appointed Penny Pemberton as head of international benefits.
In her new role Pemberton (pictured) is charged with leading and growing the international benefits business, managing the team of consultants and building relationships with partners and clients.
She will also be dealing with international benefits via the firm’s Hooray Health & Protection brand.
Joining from Aon where Pemberton held various management and principal consultant roles in both the UK and Australia, she was also previously an international product manager at Bupa Australia and a senior corporate consultant at Bupa Global.
Engage added Pemberton has extensive experience working with large corporate clients, managing teams, and driving profitable new business growth.
It said she has always specialised in global benefits consultancy including broking policies for clients with globally mobile employees and remote workers and more broadly helping clients to define and implement their global benefits strategies.
Pemberton said: “I’m very excited to join this dynamic team. Over the past few years, Engage has built up a fantastic team of experienced individuals, creating a culture where the people really buy into the ethos and vision of the company and it’s great to be a part of this.
“There has been phenomenal business growth through providing innovative solutions and a quality, tailored service to clients. I’m looking forward to being part of the next chapter and building on the strong foundations of this international benefits business.
Ian Abbott, international director at Engage Health Group, added: “We are delighted to add Penny to our senior management team, where she takes up a new role, leading our international benefits operation.
“Penny represents everything that we are building at Engage. She’s one of the very best people in the industry, with a wealth of experience in both global consultancy and broking.
“However, more importantly, she’s a fantastic person who both our people and our clients will love working with, as she leads the international arm of our business into the next phase of our exciting journey.”
