Health insurance provider Equipsme has joined the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII) as a corporate member.
Equipsme was launched five years ago to find a niche between full PMI and cash plans, bringing more organisations into the market which previously had not had any insurance.
Matthew Reed, managing director and co-founder of Equipsme (pictured) said: “As we’ve continued to grow and bring on more and larger businesses, intermediaries have been essential.
“AMII impressed us with its work to connect people, highlight best practices and effectively advocate on behalf of members to remove the red tape surrounding a highly valued employee benefit.
“We believe that our approach supports businesses in making more extensive investments in health and wellbeing, ultimately alleviating some of the burden on the NHS.”
