Free BiTC and Public Health England workplace health & wellbeing toolkits now available in one package

A new suite of toolkits developed in collaboration with Public Health England (PHE) has been launched by an industry body in a bid to support employers’ efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of their workforce.

A spokesperson for Business in the Community (BiTC) said its toolkits provide “practical, evidence-based guidance” support.

The toolkit represents a summary of the previous eight toolkits developed by BiTC and PHE.

The BiTC spokesperson said that the suite of toolkits consolidates “the best evidence, employer practice and freely available resources and takes a whole person, whole organisation approach to mental and physical wellbeing”.

The BiTC spokesperson said that the toolkit summary comes into response to the Work Foundation’s evaluation of its suite of employer toolkits.

He said: “The evaluation showed that businesses wanted a general, overarching toolkit to draw out the common themes across the suite.”
