Simon Friday, employee benefits manager at Brown & Brown, is leaving the company.

Friday worked for a total of seven years at Advo and then Brown & Brown (previously Premier Choice Healthcare).

He started working for Brown & Brown in October 2024, shifting over from Advo after that company’s acquisition by Premier Choice.

He started with Advo in 2018, leaving as a private clients manager in healthcare and protection before shifting over to Brown & Brown as employee benefits manager.

Friday has not yet stated what his next move will be, but said “its something I’m extremely excited for.”

In July Health & Protection reported that Premier Choice had purchased employee benefits intermediary Advo Group Ltd to expand its presence in the South East.

Premier Choice said in October that it had taken all 23 employees from the Advo Group, and that all had retained their jobs.

Prior to Advo, Friday worked at Capita Insurance Services for eight years from 2010 to 2018, leaving as a commercial sales manager.

Friday said via LinkedIn: “After seven incredible years at Advo and then Brown & Brown (previously Premier Choice Healthcare) the time has come for me to soon say goodbye.

“It’s a very bittersweet feeling and it’s something that hasn’t quite sunk in yet. I’ve had an absolute blast and made memories and friends that will last a lifetime.

“My last day is next Wednesday, although paths will continue to cross in this industry, this really feels like the closing of a chapter.”
