The Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment and Neurodiversity (GAIN) has begun working with specialist neurological occupational therapy provider Krysalis.
The partnership will see Krysalis working together with those insurers that have signed up to GAIN, with a view to developing positive neuro-inclusive work environments.
GAIN said the collaboration intended to create meaningful change for neurodiverse individuals aiming to, or already working within, the insurance, investment, and financial services sectors.
The body launched in September saying it wanted to unlock the true potential of the neurodiverse sector of society and give them opportunities in the insurance industry.
Krysalis clinical director Jo Throp said the firm was thrilled with the partnership and believed it would make a positive difference for all.
“As specialist neurological occupational therapists, we understand human function like no other profession. Our specialist expertise helps to unpick the complexity of a neurodiverse diagnosis,” she said.
“We understand how the environment can create barriers and impact an individual’s abilities and wellbeing.
“Advice, assessment, therapeutic intervention, and education services from clinicians promote understanding and foster relationships that cultivate confident employees and enlightened employers.”
GAIN partners lead Stuart Pollard said: “Our shared objective of making the insurance, investment and related services sectors more neuro-inclusive will benefit individuals and employers.”
