HCA Healthcare UK has appointed Maxine Estop Green (pictured) as of The Princess Grace Hospital, with effect from 3 October.

Estop Green’s 22-year career in the private healthcare sector began at the turn of the century in finance management at Ramsay Healthcare.

She became general manager of both Woodland Hospital in Kettering and The Westbourne Centre in Birmingham in January 2001.

Nine years later, she became hospital director of Nuffield Health’s Cambridge Hospital where she led the design, build and operation of organisation’s multi-million-pound hospital in the city centre, which opened its doors to the public in 2015.

Estop Green subsequently directed the design, build and operation of another new hospital for the provider at St Barts, which was opened in May 2022.

John Reay, UK president and CEO of HCA Healthcare, said: “With such a strong legacy in direction and growth of private hospitals, we know that Maxine will be pivotal to The Princess Grace Hospital’s future and ongoing success.”

Estop Green added she was “beyond excited“ to step into the role of CEO at The Princess Grace Hospital and said she looked forward to supporting and guiding the hospital.
