HDI Global Specialty has appointed Olga Candi as general manager and head of its branch in Milan, Italy.
Candi has over nine years’ experience in the insurance industry and was previously underwriter co-ordinator for the branch. She succeeds Paolo Volpi who HDI revealed has moved on to “new challenges” outside of the group.
Alberto Bellomi, managing director of HDI Global in Italy, will take on responsibilities as legal representative for the HDI Global Specialty branch in support of its commercial transactions and operations.
Candi said: “I am excited to be able to lead the team here in Italy at this important time as we look to optimise the HDI Global Specialty footprint in our market, and I look forward to developing its potential for the benefit of my staff, our customers and the wider HDI Group.”
