Healix Health Services is expanding its operation and creating 50 new jobs with the opening of an office in Bristol.

The firm said the expansion of its front-line operations team reflected record growth for its healthcare trusts.

It said this was a direct result of increasing pressure on the NHS post-pandemic and the need for a more cost-effective alternative to private medical insurance (PMI).

The Bristol-based team will consist of health claims assessors who will be responsible for the delivery of claims management services for trust members.

Trust administration will still be managed on a wider level from the company headquarters in Esher, Surrey.

The expansion will create over 50 jobs in the city across the next 15 months.

Ian Talbot, CEO of Healix Health Services, (pictured) said: “We take a great deal of pride in the services we provide our healthcare trust members, and all our decisions are based on how we can make sure we deliver the most effective, efficient claims journey.

“The expansion of the team and opening of a new office in Bristol is a testament to this approach as demand continues to grow at pace post-pandemic.

“With the opportunity to work with two fantastic and reputable universities and access to such a wide talent pool, Bristol was a clear choice for our office and we’re looking forward to seeing the success of the team in 2023.”
