Healix Health has made a pair of key hires as it plans to update its care pathways and develop a new claims management system.

The healthcare trust provider has appointed Sarah Taylor (pictured) as director of corporate proposition.

Taylor was most recently at Axa Health for a decade where she was head of specialist practitioner relations and head of pathways .

She brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare product development and clinical pathway design, including time with Simplyhealth.

She will focus on developing Healix’s health and wellbeing offering and managing care pathways to improve accessibility and outcomes for clients and members, the firm said.

Meanwhile Matthew Wilson has been appointed IT programme director and joins the executive team.

Wilson brings more 25 years of experience delivering transformation and technology programmes, most recently at Simplyhealth where he was programme director – platform modernisation.

He will be responsible for developing Healix’s new claims management system and advancing its digital services for clients and members.

Finally, Holly Reoch has been promoted to marketing director from head of marketing.

Ian Talbot, CEO at Healix Health, said: “These appointments come at an exciting time for Healix, with new services being rolled out, including our enhanced cancer support pathway, and a refreshed brand launching soon.

“As we grow, having the right people in place is key to helping more UK businesses deliver high-quality, personalised care for every employee.”
