Healthcare trust provider Healix Health Services has launched a low cost employer digital health benefit Healix ConneX.
The solution, which is designed to bridge the gap between no healthcare offering at all and full healthcare provision as an employee benefit, enables instant access to digital triage through an app.
It offers employees accelerated access to mental health, musculoskeletal (MSK), virtual GP and wellbeing services, as part of a single digital ecosystem of online portals and conversational AI tools such as chatbots, that provide immediate support and targeted therapy.
The solution aims to empower employees to take control of their health by providing early intervention to ensure better health outcomes, the provider said.
Once they have received their diagnosis, members can self-manage their own recovery with appropriate advice or be integrated into the NHS for long-term treatment if necessary.
Employers choose from two levels of service – Triage and Care – to best fit their budget. The Care version offers employers emotional wellbeing therapy and physiotherapy sessions on top of the standard triage package.
The subscription-based service is available to all businesses whether they are currently part of a Healix healthcare trust or not.
Ian Talbot, CEO of Healix, (pictured) said: “The healthcare sector has been under intense pressure as a result of the pandemic.
“We were in a position to help tackle this problem and wanted to provide a solution that allowed employees to deal with any issues head on, cutting through the waiting times for any initial consultations and diagnoses and speeding up their ability to access the right support.
“The last two years have also highlighted the importance of early intervention for MSK and mental health which is why it was important for us to create a low-cost solution available to all that would still offer some of the advantages of traditional private healthcare.”
