Healix Health Services has promoted Ian Talbot to general manager from commercial director.
The independent healthcare trust provider revealed the move formed part of an executive level restructure to further support the ongoing success and development of the business.
Talbot’s new role will see him take charge of the company’s growth plan and commercial development, while continuing to work closely with Dr Peter Mason, owner and founder, on the firm’s overarching growth strategy.
Other changes at executive board level include the promotion of Deirdré Eloff to finance director, Kieran Stratton as director of pricing & underwriting and Susie Morris as director of trust sales. They join Mike Barnes, Healix’s operations director, on the executive board.
Commenting on Talbot’s promotion, Mason said: “Ian has been with Healix for a number of successful years as commercial director, and his broad experience in both the business and the wider industry makes him ideally suited to step up to the general manager role.
“He has been instrumental in our success in recent years and I am certain that he will continue to lead the team effectively as we work with clients to provide flexible, cost-efficient healthcare trust solutions for their employees.
“I’m confident that today’s promotions and the strength and expertise of our executive board will help Healix grow further over the course of 2021 and beyond.”
