Iain Eagling has left Health Assured.
Eagling had been sales director at the employee assistance provider since February 2023.
He joined from the Access Group where he held the same role.
Health Assured told Health & Protection it wanted to make clear that Eagling’s departure had no connection to the outcome of an Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) investigation launched following allegations by the BBC that the provider has breached professional standards.
“We thank Iain for his contribution over the last three years and wish him the best in his future endeavours,” the firm said.
“HA Wisdom Wellbeing’s focus is always on delivering exceptional clinical excellence and providing best in class mental health & wellbeing services for organisations and individuals across the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.”
EAPA’s investigation launched following BBC allegations the provider has breached professional standards.
It found that while Health Assured did not meet the ethical standards expected of members surrounding confidentiality and informed consent, the trade body would not be taking any formal action against the firm aside from enforcing an independent audit of current processes.
New challenge
Taking to LinkedIn, Eagling said: “After three brilliant years of growth and success on the board at HA Wisdom Wellbeing, the time is right for me to move on to a new challenge.
“I’ll miss the brilliant people and commercial teams I led and the fantastic leadership team at HA I was part of, as the business is now in great shape for the future providing a much needed service. It’s now the right time for me to move to a new role.”
