Holloway Friendly appoints former Exeter CFO as non-executive director

Holloway Friendly has appointed John Gunn as non-executive director.

Most recently chief finance officer (CFO) at The Exeter, Gunn (pictured) has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with expertise in finance, risk, and governance and has spent eight years on boards, working across audit, risk, and investment committees.

Ben Pears, CEO at Holloway Friendly, said: “We’re delighted to welcome John to our board.

“His extensive experience and strategic thinking will help guide us as we continue to grow and make a difference to our members”.

Gunn added: “I’m really pleased to be joining the society as non-executive director.

“It’s an organisation with strong values, and I’m excited to work with the board and leadership team as it continues to grow.”
