Howden Asia has announced the appointment of Hamish Ravindran as chief client officer for Asia.

Ravindran has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning underwriting, client services, and regional leadership roles.

He worked at FM Global in Singapore for the previous 23 years, leaving as client service manager, a role he had for more than four years.

As chief client officer at Howden Asia, Ravindran will lead efforts to strengthen relationships with complex multinational clients and ensure they receive solutions that help to drive long-term value.

Goh Chye Huat, CEO of Howden Asia CEO, said: “Hamish’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to strengthening client engagement and value delivery across Asia.

“His extensive experience will bring a fresh dimension, and I am confident he will make an immediate impact.”

Ravindran said: “Thrilled to begin this new chapter with Howden Asia.

“I’m deeply passionate about advocating for our clients – helping them navigate risk with clarity, creativity and confidence.”
