Howden has promoted Jan Tinus Larsen to CEO of Howden Norway, effective 1 October 2024.
Larsen, who has served as deputy CEO since 2018, takes over his new role from Anders Kvan.
Larsen, who joined Howden Norway in 2018, started his career as a lawyer at If P&C Insurance and has held various senior positions in the insurance industry, most recently as managing director at Berkely Insurance Nordic, where he worked from 2009 to 2017.
Kvan is a founding member of Howden’s business in Norway and its CEO since 2006. He will remain on the board of Howden Norway. This will allow him to work more closely with major clients and support and develop new business lines.
