Private medical insurance broker Howha PMI has joined the Association of Medical Insurers (AMII) as an intermediary member.
Charlie Francis, managing director at Howha, set up the business after working at Bristol-based broker Excellect.
Francis said: “Having worked in the health insurance industry for a number of years, I started Howha PMI (How happy am I) to make health insurance simple.
“The health insurance market is growing, and we’re always looking at ways to improve our offering to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Being recognised as an AMII broker strengthens our credibility in the market. It gives us that sounding board to receive expert advice from those in our field should we need it, which is invaluable.”
David Middleton, executive chairman at AMII, added: “I am delighted to welcome Howha PMI as a new corporate member.
“Charlie’s passion for simplifying health insurance and providing clients with the most suitable coverage is truly commendable. By joining AMII, Howha PMI gains access to a supportive network of industry experts, regulatory guidance, and exciting opportunities for professional development.
“We are confident that their membership will not only strengthen our association but also contribute to the growth and success of the private medical insurance market.”
