HSBC Life Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Luis Alexandre Gomes as head of digital health and Gary Ngai as head of insurance strategy.
In his new role, Gomes will oversee HSBC’s digital health capabilities, aiming to ensure it meets customers’ evolving healthcare needs while further integrating health journeys with the Bank across various segments.
Gomes has worked with HSBC for more than 13 years. His most recent role was chief health commercial officer from 2024. Prior to that he was head of health solutions and employee benefits lead, from 2019 to 2024.
Meanwhile, Ngai will focus on shaping business strategies, using data-driven insights in a bid to fuel growth, and leading the people engagement agenda for the company.
HSBC said their leadership will be pivotal in strengthening the company’s position.
