International Medical Group (IMG) has appointed Scott Ackerman as chief commercial officer.
In his new role, Ackerman will hold global responsibilities for sales and account management. IMG added he will be integral in leading revenue-based planning and forecasting and will be responsible for the execution of its revenue growth initiatives to drive new revenue and retain existing business.
Ackerman succeeds Amanda Winkle who was promoted to chief operating officer in the autumn.
Before joining the insurer, Ackerman’s most recent role was as senior vice president of development at Travel Leaders Group who he joined from AIG Travel Guard where he was senior vice president of sales.
