The Income Protection Task Force has rescheduled Income Protection Awareness Week to next month following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

The IPTF revealed its awareness week will now run between 17 and 21 October. It was originally set to take place next week.

The taskforce revealed it had been made aware by a number of organisations that they are suspending social media and communication activities until at least one day after the Queen’s funeral has taken place next Monday (19 September). It added that as IPAW is a campaign that relies on social media noise to fulfil the objective of raising awareness, and out of respect to the late Monarch, it did not think it would be either appropriate or effective to run the campaign as planned.

Registrations to attend any or all of the IPAW days remain valid, so there is no need to register again. Those who have registered will receive an email with their attendee link just before the lunchtime broadcast. The planned content and running order for the week remains unchanged.

You can also follow the IPTF on Linkedin and Twitter for any further updates and ways to get involved.
