IPAW 2025: We set up spreadsheets so clients can understand all of their added value services – Streames

Velvet Mortgage and Insure Services helps clients understand their added value services by laying them all out in an easily accessible spreadsheet.

This is according to Bella Streames, MD at Velvet Mortgage and Insure Services (pictured), who on the fourth day of Income Protection Action Week revealed sometime she can be setting up as many as six policies for one client.

“So what we also do is we do a spreadsheet for them, so they can always access it,” Streames said.

“It’s saved in our Google drive and they have access.”

Streames explained that clients have access to a separate tab labeled ‘added benefits’.

“So it will very simply say six mental health sessions, six physio sessions, private GP services whatever they are,” Streames continued.

“But they can then look at that and say, I do remember her saying that and having a look at the spreadsheet or contact us – whichever way you prefer.

“I’ve found that’s worked quite well.”
