IPTF adds six members, launches podcast and confirms IPAW dates

Income protection awareness week launched to raise product sales

Scottish Widows, Holloway Friendly, British Friendly, One Family, Teledoc, and Square Health have all joined the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) as members.

The additions mean that the organisation now has 26 members in addition to working with advisers and networks across the industry.

As part of its 2024 programme, the IPTF also confirmed that Income Protection Awareness Week will run online during the week of 23rd September with free to join sessions running online between 23rd and 27th September. 

Those interested in learning more about the events are advised to follow IPTF on LinkedIn where further information will be shared.

IPTF also revealed details of the launch of a regular podcast series. Entitled LetsTalkIP and hosted by Matthew Chapman the episodes will look to explore best practice in advising clients on income protection as well as wider industry trends and insights from special guests and will be provide IP focused CPD for listeners. 

The IPTF is hoping to launch the podcast in early March.

IPTF added its members will also be working to encourage market growth and tackle barriers to sale for the product via a number of workstreams focused on different aspects of the income protection market.
