Kim Powell set to depart ActiveQuote after 11 years

Kim Powell is leaving ActiveQuote after 11 years with the advice firm.

Powell, who is now partnerships manager, joined ActiveQuote in 2013 as a protection consultant.

Announcing her departure Powell (pictured), said she would soon be leaving after 11 “brilliant” years with Active Quote.

She has not announced her next career move, but said she would reveal details of that in the New Year.

Powell added there were too many individuals to thank, but singled out the company’s partners and all those in-between who had been part of her journey.

Writing on LinkedIn, Powell said: “Who would have thought that a part-time, stop-gap role would have turned into such a great career move into the health insurance industry? I certainly didn’t.

“In my most recent role as partnerships manager I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many brilliant people across the industry and not only forge incredibly strong partnerships for ActiveQuote but also gain some really great friends.

“I’ve been so lucky to have some incredible mentors at ActiveQuote throughout the years who have been immensely supportive of my development.

“When you’ve worked somewhere for so long, it’s inevitable that you go through many changes in your life, some good, some pretty hard but no matter what the circumstance, ActiveQuote’s support has always been incredible. Special mention here to Rod Jones, Rob Saunders and Ben Jones.”

The company announced it was being acquired by Howden over the summer.
