The 2024 edition of The PMI Handbook for intermediaries seeking information on private medical insurance (PMI) policies in the UK has been published and includes a digital version.
The handbook is compiled by Craigdallie Healthcare specialist PMI consultant Andrew Green and aims to help intermediaries keep informed on policies and providers.
This year, Craigdallie Publishing partnered with tech firm Tendr to provide a new service where subscribers will also have access to a digital version of the book via the Tendr Broker Hub.
The PMI Handbook is a broker-dedicated reference source for the PMI market, providing cover details on both Individual and Group PMI policies from more than 20 insurers.
Each entry is colour-coded and contains cover comparisons, commission guides, contact details and special points on each contract.
A glossary of the main medical terms is included as well as a contact list of International PMI providers.
The publication is suitable for both intermediaries currently active in PMI and those wishing to enter the market.
Subscribers to Health & Protection receive a special 35% discount on the cost of the subscription. The book is available through Craigdallie Publishing on (01444) 454849 or email at info@thepmihandbook.com
Andrew Green, compiler of the book at Craigdallie, said “We are really pleased to be working with Tendr to provide a digital solution.
“Single user subscribers to the hard copy version of the handbook will now be able to register on the Tendr Broker Hub and get access to the electronic version without any additional cost.
“This means that users will have the best of both worlds, whether they prefer to use the hard copy or the digital version.
“With so many PMI plans available and in so many different combinations, it can be difficult for brokers to keep up to speed on all of the options. This aims to help them, whether they are already involved in the PMI market or looking to enter the sector.”
