Manulife Philippines has appointed Rajeev Kumar as chief financial officer (CFO) and Maya Lee as chief operations officer (COO).
Kumar (pictured right) will be responsible for optimising the company’s financial performance, including risk management, profitability, capital management and solvency.
Before joining Manulife Philippines, Kumar was the CFO, chief actuary, and CIO of Generali Vietnam for two and a half years.
He also spent 13 years with Bharti Axa Life in Hong Kong and India, where he held finance, product management, actuarial, and strategy roles
Lee (pictured left) joined the firm in March from PwC where she was a consulting director and will lead initiatives to help improve the company’s operational performance, cost efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
She will also be overseeing the day-to-day operations support provided to customers and distribution partners.
