Maxis Global Benefits Network has added wellbeing app Humanoo to its partners.

Multinational clients of the international employee benefits joint venture between MetLife and Axa, will be able to work with the app provider to help improve the overall health, wellbeing and engagement of their people.

The app is designed to help improve employees’ physical and mental health with customised, on-demand fitness, physio, yoga, mindfulness, sleep and nutrition programmes, the firm said.

Video and audio coaching programmes are combined with gamification-led challenges, rewards and incentives to engage employees in activities that benefit their overall health and wellbeing.

It is designed to help motivate employees to complete proactive, healthy activities by rewarding them with cash and other non-monetary rewards.

Employers working with the app will have access to in-depth analytics and data to measure success and make informed decisions about its business and people.

Humanoo founder and CEO Philip Pogoretschnik said he was very excited about the partnership.

“Working together, we hope to encourage some of the world’s largest employers to proactively tackle their wellness challenges head-on,” he said.

Maxis GBN chief health and wellness officer Dr. Leena Johns noted that engaging employees in health and wellness programmes is a challenge for employers all over the world.
