Maxis Global Benefits Network, the international employee benefits joint venture between MetLife and Axa, has appointed Federico Morosi as chief technical and financial officer (CTFO).
Morosi will oversee Maxis GBN’s finance, legal, portfolio management and reinsurance and reporting teams. He will sit on the Maxis GBN executive committee and report to CEO, Mattieu Rouot. He is joining on 2 May and will be based in Paris.
Most recently, Morosi was Generali’s area manager for Argentina, Chile and Portugal. He spent nine years with the Generali group, including a stint as chief strategy and financial officer at Generali Employee Benefits.
Jérôme Picon, head of finance and operations, will be taking on new responsibilities within the Axa Group from July and will help to ensure a smooth transition of the teams under his leadership over coming months.
Morosi said: “I’m extremely excited to be joining Maxis GBN and am looking forward to helping further develop the network’s strong global presence. I’m eager to get started and use my experience to drive technical innovation, ensure maximum efficiency and help the business to go from strength-to-strength.”
Rouot added: “Firstly I’d like to say a huge thank you to Jérôme for everything he has delivered for Maxis over the five years he has been with us. He joined shortly after the formation of the joint venture and has been hugely influential in taking Maxis to the position we are in today – a leading global benefits network.
“I’m also delighted to be welcoming Federico to the business. His hands-on experience across a variety of functions and teams throughout his career will be hugely beneficial to us and we are looking forward to having him on board to help deliver our strategy.”
