MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN), the international employee benefits joint venture between MetLife and AXA, has made a series of promotions within its business development leadership team in the Americas.
The changes follow on from the promotion of Paul Lewis to the role of global head of business development at MAXIS GBN last year.
Larry Howley, Julie Nye and Lauren Kelly have all been promoted to regional managers and will become part of the business development leadership team from 1 April 2022. The trio join Erica Sebastianutti, (all four pictured) who has been with MAXIS since July 2021 as the regional manager for the South and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Howley has over 10 years’ experience in global employee benefits, holding roles across financial management, global underwriting and business development. He has been promoted to regional manager for the Northeast, sharing this region with Julie Nye, who will also look after the West and LATAM regions. She has more than 20 years’ experience in global insurance, most recently as the Americas lead for the MAXIS GBN Underwriting team.
Kelly, who will be covering Mid-West and Canada, has seven years’ expertise working with multinational clients to implement global employee benefits programmes.
Lewis said: “We’re delighted to be announcing these promotions as we focus on further, long-term sustainable growth in the Americas region, our largest market in terms of client scope, sophistication and premium written.
“Lauren, Larry, Julie and Erica each have extensive, broad experience in the sector as well as the calibre and expertise that will allow MAXIS GBN to build on its market share and momentum.”
Mattieu Rouot, CEO at MAXIS GBN, added: “Our Americas team is going from strength-to-strength under Paul’s leadership.
“They have done an exceptional job, working with some of the largest and most sophisticated multinational companies in the US, Latin America and Canada.
“With these developments in the business development team, we are very confident that we will see even more positive results, with a strong focus on the client experience and employee outcomes.”
