Medigold Health updates primary care service

Medigold Health has refined its preventative primary care service to give employees faster access to clinical support.

With demand on NHS GP services continuing to rise, organisations are suffering from rising absenteeism and, therefore, lower productivity.

The refreshed service responds to this by bringing simpler and more accessible primary care to workplaces across the UK.

Streamlined health assessments, reduced from eight appointments to just two, is one such enhancement offered by Medigold’s refreshed service.

Unlimited GP appointments is another addition to the offering as is a mobile insight programme, which provides onsite health insights.

Employees can also access same or next day GP appointments virtually or at Medigold Health’s London clinic.

Lucy Carey, partnership and business development lead, preventative primary care, said: “Strengthening our primary care pathways is about giving customers faster, simpler and more personalised access to the care they need – without unnecessary steps, delays or rising costs.

“By refining our model, we’re also reducing avoidable escalation into secondary PMI services and easing pressure on acute pathways, ensuring people reach the right care first time.

“Ultimately, this approach delivers timely support, better outcomes and a smoother, more affordable route to treatment.”
