Mercer Marsh Benefits has promoted Paul Consterdine to its multinational global commercial leader position effective immediately.

He will remain based in Aix-en-Provence, France and report to Mercer Marsh Benefits multinational leader John Deegan.

In his new role, Consterdine (pictured) will oversee the evolution and execution of Mercer Marsh Benefits global commercial strategy – focused on establishing long-term broking, consulting and digital partnerships with the multinational businesses.

Consterdine began his career with Thomsons Online Benefits in 2010. In 2017, following Mercer’s acquisition of Thomsons Online Benefits, he joined Mercer Marsh Benefits in a role which saw him found, and then lead, its European multinational commercial team.

Deegan said: “We are excited to have Paul at the helm of our global commercial team.

“His extensive experience and proven track record in the employee benefits space will be invaluable as we continue to expand our offerings and strengthen our client relationships.”

Consterdine added: “I am delighted to take on this role. With nearly two decades of experience advising clients in the employee benefits sector, I understand the challenges that global businesses face in delivering innovative and engaging yet cost-effective benefits packages.

“I look forward to leading our talented and passionate team as we continue to build strong, sustainable partnerships and drive growth for our clients.”
