MetLife UK has appointed Claire Williams as strategic account manager.
Williams’ role follows a career break after her relocation to the UK from Canada where she worked at Canadian national insurance marketing organisation PPI as head of strategic growth and before that as an independent financial adviser.
Her latest move sees a return to the UK protection sector, having worked as a customer retention specialist at LifeSearch more than a decade ago.
Announcing her move on LinkedIn, Williams thanked her contacts for introducing her to MetLife UK’s Rupinder Bahra and Richard Horner.
“You have all played a part in this excellent opportunity and supported me as I embark on the next chapter of my journey,” Williams said.
“I can’t wait to start working with our esteemed advisers and firms. The first few weeks working alongside my new team has been nothing short of amazing.”
Health & Protection has contacted MetLife UK for comment.
