MGEN has established a dedicated international business unit which will be led by Stéphane Znaty.
The mutual insurer said the approach was an indication of its international ambition with the business unit created to manage all MGEN activities internationally.
Znaty, who takes on the position of CEO of MGEN International, was previously chief financial officer (CFO) of the insurer and will remain a member of the firm’s executive committee.
Claire Ferrari will succeed him as CFO, reporting to MGEN managing director Christian Cochennec, and joins the mutual’s management committee.
Ferrari has 33 years’ experience in insurance including 26 in finance, acquired in major groups including Scor, Generali, CNP Assurances and AGF/Allianz.
Prior to joining MGEN, she was CFO of the UK subsidiaries of the Covea Group.
“I would like to acknowledge the commitment and outstanding work of Stéphane Znaty in the MGEN financial department,” said Cochennec.
