The 1st to 30th November 2022 is all about Oral Cancer. Share Bupa’s toolkit as part of Mouth Cancer Action Month, which is a campaign is run by the Oral Health Foundation each year to raise awareness of mouth cancer.

From knowing what signs to look out for, key symptoms, and the rising number of cases in the UK.

Mouth cancer is on the rise, claiming more lives than cervical and testicular cancer combined. In the UK there are around 8,700 cases of mouth cancer each year.

Prepare your clients for Mouth Cancer Action Month because the more they are aware of the risks, signs and symptoms, the better chance they have of beating it.

This means knowing how to spot mouth cancer early and knowing where to go when we see something out of the ordinary.

When symptoms go unnoticed or aren’t managed, it can be harder to get back to full health. Seeking treatment quickly with the help of Bupa means limiting dips in productivity and time away.

For resources to share with your clients, including guidance and support for line-managers, take a look at the Mouth Cancer Action Month toolkit.
