Health & Protection has learned of two further departures from William Russell, but the international private medical insurance (IPMI) provider said there has not been a major restructure at the firm.
Yesterday Health & Protection revealed business development manager (BDM) Christopher Knowles and sales and customer loyalty manager for the UK Duncan Craig had left the company.
Health & Protection now understands former insurance product manager Paul Bigmore left shortly after joining, while global product and marketing lead Ekaterina Vankova has also departed.
Bigmore joined the company towards the end of last year as insurance product manager from Aetna and left his post after only a matter of weeks at the insurer. According to his LinkedIn profile, Bigmore has since joined Three UK as head of insurance proposition.
At the time, William Russell announced Bigmore’s appointment saying it was excited to have him on board.
Commenting on the announcement, commercial director Tariq Saddiqi added that he looked forward to Bigmore having a “really positive” impact at William Russell.
“We are entering into a really exciting growth phase, and the refinement and execution of our product roadmap is a key foundation stone to enable that growth,” he said.
Meanwhile Vankova, who had been the firm’s global product and marketing lead for more than two years, also left the insurer late last year and has joined Experian.
Marketing director William Cooper said Vankova had left to work in a different industry, adding the company was “very sad to see her go” and was recruiting for another SEO lead.
Cooper added he was unable to comment on the other departures but said “there had not been a major restructure at the insurer”.
Bigmore has also been contacted but had not responded at time of publication.
