Nugent Santé has promoted two senior members to its board of directors and said it expects the wider group to treble its headcount within five years.

Rob Rigby has been promoted from head of sales to director of sales and Alison Wignall (pictured) has been promoted from head of operations to director of operations.

Both directors now have an equity stake in Nugent Santé along with their positions on the board of the health insurance and wellbeing specialist.

The company sits within the wider Santé group which includes life insurance business Santé Life, private medical insurance broker network Santé Partners and broker support business ArchAngel.

The Santé Group currently employs 27 people at its Lancashire headquarters but is expecting significant growth in the medium term.

Santé Group chief executive Paul Nugent said: “Rob and Alison have been with the business since we started life in 2014 and have contributed significantly to the group’s success.

“They both share a passion for driving the business forward and have been instrumental in putting working practices in place that have enabled Nugent Santé to evolve and become one of the leaders in its field.”

He noted that as a group, it had seen a dramatic increase in the way businesses were prioritising health and wellbeing as a central function to how they operate.

“With this, we need to respond quickly to changes in how businesses look after their people and make sure we have the products, service, and infrastructure to support our clients. Rob and Alison have made sure this happens,” Nugent added.
