Pacific Life Re has appointed Soichiro Makimoto as head of its Japan representative office.
Makimoto joins from Moody’s Japan and brings more than 25 years of experience across the insurance and banking sectors.
In his new role, Soichiro will focus on enhancing Pacific Life Re’s presence in Japan, bringing a deeper understanding of clients’ needs to support the company’s regional growth ambitions.
