US healthcare provider Paradigm has appointed Elizabeth Bierbower to its board of directors.
Bierbower (pictured) was a board member of Clara Insurance and member of Humana’s executive management team where she led their employer, specialty and military businesses.
The former vice president of healthcare strategy at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield was also chief operating officer of Coventry Health Plans of Pittsburgh. She serves on several boards, including BlueSprig, Brella Insurance, and Quest Analytics.
Paradigm CEO John Watts said he was thrilled Bierbower was joining the company.
“She will be instrumental in helping us identify new opportunities, and it’s reassuring that she shares our view on delivering value throughout the care continuum,” he said.
Bierbower added: “I look forward to working with the leadership team to identify ways to extend their impact to more people.”
