Global reinsurer PartnerRe has adopted software provider IPipeline’s SSG Digital platform.
Using the platform will enable PartnerRe to host multiple insurer underwriting philosophies in a single engine and facilitate fully underwritten comparison capability, the firms said.
IPipeline noted the collaboration is its first UK platform integration with a reinsurer and will form an integral part of PartnerRe’s enhanced life proposition.
Elaborating on the partnership, Ian Teague, UK group managing director at IPipeline, said the firm was delighted to be working with PartnerRe to support its underwriting capabilities.
“This new collaboration is a strategic long-term relationship that will drive mutual value for both parties,” he said.
“Our solution will help PartnerRe automate and streamline its underwriting processes and, ultimately, grow its protection business across Europe.”
