Partners& has acquired employee benefits adviser Health Matters (UK) Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Coventry-based Health Matters was founded in 1999 and employs 11 people who will now all be integrated into the Partners& wellbeing, engagement and benefits team.

Health Matters managing director James Henson will report to Marcia Reid, managing partner of the Partners& wellbeing, engagement and benefits team.

Meanwhile founder Simon Hurley-Smith, will remain with the business as adviser and consultant to Partners&.

Hurley-Smith, said: “Our company was built on five pillars, making a difference, quality service, pure transparency, people focus and forward thinking.

“It was obvious from the start that our values were very much in line with those of Partners& and we could not be happier to be joining forces with an award-winning company, whose focus is so clearly on clients and people.”

Phil Barton, CEO at Partners&, added: “We are delighted to welcome Simon, James and the team to Partners&.

“We truly believe there is a direct correlation between the health and wellbeing of employees and the health of a business.

“By joining forces with Health Matters, we are bringing together experienced specialists at a time when clients really need that expertise to protect themselves, their people and their business.”
