Premier Choice Healthcare (PCH) has acquired 100% of the share capital of Buckinghamshire intermediary Homewood Health Ltd and the health insurance portfolio of Margaret Clark in Peterborough.
Both intermediaries write consumer and business healthcare insurance, and, following the deals, Andrew Needham, director of Homewood Health, and Margaret Clark will become PCH ambassadors, enabling them to share their knowledge and experience in the industry with the PCH team.
PCH added both acquisitions have completed and terms of the deal are undisclosed. PCH is owned by Brown & Brown (Europe) Ltd.
Stephen Hough, managing director at PCH, (pictured) said: “As well as giving us two well-established and thriving books of business, these two deals will enable us to continue to build out our Ambassador programme.
“The programme gives our very experienced intermediaries the opportunity to stay involved, maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and help develop the less experienced members in our team.”
Needham said: “PCH provides me with the chance to take value from the work I’ve done building up my business, but also stay involved without the pressures of running the business day to day. I also look forward to working with some of our less experienced industry stars to help them on their own journey.’
Clark added: “I have known PCH for many years now and have a high respect for their professionalism, focus on service and their progressive strategy within the PMI sector.”
“I look forward to playing my part in helping the team to further develop their market presence in this exciting part of the insurance sector.”
