The Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) has appointed several directors to a newly formed board designed to provide oversight and governance to the organisation.
Joining managing director, Jo Miller (pictured top left), and executive director, Vicky Churcher (pictured second from top left) on the board are: IPTF founder, Peter Le Beau (third from top left), Christine Husbands (furthest right on top row) and Phil Jeynes (first from bottom left).
Additionally, the IPTF will work with a number of associates to inform their work including Matthew Chapman (second bottom left), The Protection Coach, Stevie Arnoldi (further right bottom row) from Sea Studios who will lead on content production and Tracey Boyd (bottom row third from left) from Mortgage Hub Expert who will assist with co-ordinating activities for the growing group of 7Advisers and Ambassadors working with the IPTF.
Miller said “We have ambitious plans for 2025 and while we’re enthusiastic to get going with our plans, we are aware of the need to be accountable to members and provide value in what we do.
“The Board will help to challenge our strategy and provide a layer of scrutiny for our activities going forward. We are really looking forward to their input”.
Le Beau said: “When I formed the IPTF back in 2005 it was my very real hope that it would help to lead the way in raising awareness of the need for income protection.
“I am delighted to be able to continue contributing to this cause as part of the Board”.
Husbands said: “I am delighted to be able to contribute to the work of the IPTF board and grateful that working part time for Red Arc now allows me to draw on my extensive Board experience to volunteer and give back to an industry that I feel so passionately about.”
Jeynes added: “Both personal and professional experience has made me a strong advocate for income protection.
“I’m honoured to be joining such prestigious company on the IPTF board and hope that my energy and enthusiasm will help to build on the great work the team have done to date in growing awareness and sales of this vital group of products.”
